Q: What is BLUME® ER308 used for?
A: It’s primarily used for welding 304 and 304L stainless steels, providing a strong, corrosion-resistant joint suitable for high-purity and structural applications.

Q: Can it be used for other stainless grades?
A: Yes – it can also weld stainless grades like 301, 302, and 305, depending on service conditions.

Q: What shielding gas is recommended?
A: Best results are achieved with 98% Argon + 2% Oxygen or 95–98% Argon + 2–5% CO₂ for cleaner beads and reduced oxidation.
